The Flag Of The Republic of Oregon is a Triband of Green, Blue, and purple. The flag uses light green accents on the triband. In the center of the Flag is the beaver depicted on the Backside of the Flag of Oregon, The beaver is depicted carrying a cross with the former colors of the National Flag of The U.O.R (May 2nd to June 6th of 2024) and the colors of the Doug flag.

History

The Flag Can Trace its roots back to The Doug flag Designed By Of Alexander Baretich in 1995. This flag is used as the unofficial symbol of The cascadian Bioregion. The Flag does not use the colors on this flag, However it is depicted on the flag, The Blue and green Are inspired by the Doug flag as well. The current flag was adopted on The 6th of June,2024[1]

Design

The Design is meant to symbolize the land of the region, With the Green Representing The Forest and Natural Beauty, The blue representing The Oceans, rivers and maritime industry and influence, and Purple Representing the beauty of the country and The Republic, Being used on The Flag of The Spanish Republic. The Beaver Used on the flag is similar To the one on the backside of the flag of The state of Oregon Although the one on The Republics Flag is Simplified. The yellow stands for tradition and value, And the mural crown represents the community, And is on the flag because the Head Governer Thinks it’s “cool”.

Use Of The Flag

The Flag is used to Represent The Union. And Can be flown by anyone within The Nation, Provided they Flow The Rules Of the Flag. The Flag can also be used as a national Ensign

Rules Of The Flag

  • The Flag cannot be Displayed well touching The ground
  • The Flag cannot be lowered to half mast at random

Half Mast

The Flag will be flown at half-mast for the following reasons

  • The funeral of a foreign head of state
  • The funeral of any citizen or government official of the Union of Oregonian Republics

The flag can also be flown at half-mast for other reasons, at the discretion of the Head Governor
