The Democratic Socialist People's Republic of Monzen, more commonly known as New Monzenia or the DSPRM, is a democratic socialist republic micronation in the Philippines. Recognized by many micronations as MicroChina or Red Monzen. Monzen is one of the most historical Micronations existing today, founded in 2015 until its sovereign democratic independence today. One of its most popular historical events is the "Mon Rouge Revolution" which is the Socialist Liberation against the Nationalist Government in 2017 that led to Monzen's Independence today. Monzen is a prosperous and very traditional Micronation. Unlike any other Micronations, Monzen is one of the few Micronations that successfully established their own language which is currenly spoken by 6% of Monzen's Population today.
The DSPRM is a Democratic Socialist State which is governed under the democratic dictatorship of the MDSP or Monzenian Democratic Socialist Party which was established in 2016 by the Current Head of State today, Chairman Matthew De Villa. Under the Democratic Monzenian Government, the Micronation is in good economic process which creates a good advantage to the Monzenian Society. The MDSP's goal is to make a bigger advantages through making big changes to Monzen. "The country we protect, we care, we love, we serve, we unite and we oath our loyalty, Long Live Monzen~!" is the MDSP's motto, therefore, Monzen's motto is: "For Democracy and the People, Long Live Monzenia!"
Etymology
The origins of Monzen's name comes by a Japanese Live-Action Movie: Attack on Titan (2015) where the protagonist named "Eren" lives to a district called "Shiganshina" and "Monzen" as its alternate name. It is been said that the Mon Symbol also comes there which represents (by the Monzenian Government) as the Monzenian People. (Monzen District)
History of Monzen (2015-Present)
It all starts in 2015, somewhere in the hilltops gave existence to a new Micronation. With Dictatorship as its first Government. Consists with a Supreme General, Generals and Captains as its primary authority, without a constitution, the Micronation started to wander around the surrounding places and proclaim territorial claims. Having only few people to volunteer makes the progress difficult as the new Micronation has just started. The Supreme General, as its head of Government, decided to create a form of a Military Junta to build a strong Government in the Micronation. The Military Congress in the other hand is building up the Image of the Micronation, with Muskobia as its first name. March 28, Saturday. The Supreme General have proclaimed the Authoritarian Micronation: "People of Muskobia, hereby, I proclaim the Republic of Muskobia, as of this day of 28 March of year 2015, this Land officially belongs to the Muskobian People under the Protection of the Supreme Government!" cheered afterwards by the crowd. After the Proclamation, the making of the Constitution have started, with an Authoritarian Policy. A rule of law under the dictator. At this time, the First Monzenian Government is unstable, unrecognized by any other micronations existing Worldwide. After the Constitution was first released, the process of building the new laws have been in progress. Declared by the Founder, it was implemented immediately as it was constituted. Months later, the people of Muskobia have established a coup d'etat to overthrow the Dictator and his strict laws. Because of the weak authority, the Military Junta have finally stepped down and dissolved.
After the replacement of the new Government, Muskobians have founded the Kingdom of Monzen named from a place in a Japanese Movie: "Attack on Titan". Since then, the Monarchy was established, abolishing the past with a new change, new name, new era and a new start. The King, Takashi Yamada (as his Monzenian Name) has declared the Absolute Monarchy as the Ruling Government of the Kingdom. The Kingdom of Monzen was established on May 21st in 2015. Few Months have pass, the Monarchy became corrupt, cheating its politics to businesses, leading the economy to failure. A month has passed with this system when a political party have been established, it spreads knowledge and democratic liberation for the Country. The Monarchs are alerted about the news, the King doubted that Monzen may experience another coup d'état or a civil chaos again. The Party was the so-called: "Democratic Nationalists of Monzen" or "DNM Party". Few weeks later when they started to launch an ambush in the Mon Palace, exterminating the King's Guards and the remaining authority in the Establishment. The Prime Minister was taken and kidnapped and the King was injured from the Ambush, this is the first assassination attempt in the Monzenian History, the afterwards was been kept secret and none knows what happened after it.
A day after, the Nationalists took over the Government and occupied the whole establishment. They planned to liberate the Micronation from imperialist aggression. Meanwhile, the New Government is preparing their identity, making their Constitution, Flag, Anthem, and all other preparations that lasted 3 Months on continuous process. The Year is 2016, the Nationalists are ready for Proclamation and finally declared their reign. As it is on its Journey, it has made the Monzenian People's lives free and merry, with no force oppression, discrimination and political wars. This era became a legendary history for the Monzenian People for they were liberated from the Monarch dictatorship. The Republic was on good status.
Meanwhile, a Group of Students in Muskobina have decided to study the principles of Socialism, an Ideology of Karl Marx has became their perspective. They became the country's top Government Critiques. Exposing the failed system of the Nationalist Government. Sharing the Ideology's thought and effects which affected the viewpoint of the Monzenian People. It is been a successful movements until these students were arrested by the Monzenian Authorities and confiscated their ideological books. But the group never accepted their opinions, the group rebelled. They scattered around and escaped the place. As they migrated in the countryside, they spread revolution across Monzen. This is when the Communist Party was established. Lecturing the People about Fair Democracy, with Equity as their mindset. "No Rich, No Poor". By the time they have completely brainwashed most Monzenians. They decided to start the Revolution. Without the Nationalist Government's knowledge, the Country is in the process of a People Power, overthrowing the President and his dirty government. Few weeks past, the Party engaged with the Forces, bribing them with promises and propaganda. Until the Nationalist Militia has became the Red Party's Force.
Months after, they started the movement. With the Monzenian People as its force. They asked the President of the Country for his withdrawal. "Mr. President, please step down from the office or we will engage force trespass in your ground" saith the protestors. And immediately, the Leader of the nationalists have migrated to Manila for safety, this is where the People took the Palace and declared their Victory in August 15, 2017. The Communist Party have finally got their success. The Revolution of our Times. A month sooner, the People's Republic of Monzen is proclaimed. Their de-facto Chairperson hosted the declaration process to the public. "Hereby, I proclaim the Official Establishment from the Communist Party, that the People's Republic of Monzen finally rules!" saith the Chairman. The People's Republic of Monzen has been Established in September 8, 2017. Afterwards, the Country started their progress. Making the Country strong and well balanced. But after a Several Years, Monzen has fell into a problem.
December 31, 2020, the World fell into a Pandemic. Killing many people with its contagious deadly virus. The World recognizes the Corona Virus. In this Era, Monzen has forcefully declared its Lockdown, closing many establishments and securing each people in the Country. With the support from the Macro-authorities. Monzen has been locked under a Problem. The Economy decreased and Slowed. Monzen experienced Hardship through the Pandemic and it costs a lot of Lives. As the Monzenian Government cooperates with the MacroGovernment, Monzen has followed the new Safety Protocols to prevent the contagious disease. With the New Normal, Monzen rose up and continued its Historical Journey as it finally survived the pandemic and now under the slow process of recovery. With the new Democratic Socialist Government, Monzens economy increased. Monzen is now declared a COVID-Free Micronation.
In 2021, Monzen changed its Government into another form of System, with a new leftist ideology called Democratic Socialism. Establishing the Second People's Republic under the Democratic Socialist Party with new Laws and Regulations advancing Monzen's technology and economy rapidly until by September 16 when the Government suddenly dissolved and leaving the country in Abyss. In October 1, 2022. Monzen re-established it's Democratic Socialist Republic (this is the Third People's Republic). Making the Country Stable and Well progressive. In the Present times, Monzen is busy for rebuilding its historical ruins, achieving its absolute goal on building the new Country within the Unity of the Monzenian People.
The Government
Chairman of the DSPR Monzen
The Chairman of the Democratic Socialist People's Republic of Monzen is the Head of the State, which his Job is to sign the people's decision, control country's production, defense, Government, economy, etcetera. The Chairman serves to mostly everything. He is the leader of the People, the Head of the Government, the General-Secretary of the Party and the Founder of Monzen.
Legislature
The Monzenian National People's Congress stands as the Central Headquarters of all Monzenian Government Organs, including the Party, Congresses, Commissions, Institutions, and Local People's Government where this is the State's Legislature. The NPC is the Center of all decisions and actions, where all the Members in it including the Chairman are working out to decide new issues, laws, recommendations, suggestions and much more.
Administrative Party
The Democratic Socialist Party of Monzen (MDSP) was established in March 10, 2023 as transitioned from the Monzenian Communist Party. Making the Administration to be more Democratic to its People. In accordance with the Monzenian Constitution, the Democratic Socialist Party of Monzen is recognized as the one and Legitimate Administrative of Monzen.
Defence
Monzen consists of 3 Defense units to Protect the Mainland and the Monzenian People:
- Land Defense Forces | They stand as the main military, which they serve to protect and guard the Micronation. They monitor and inspect every events in the Mainland. They are not required to have any weapons or any materials that could harm anyone.
- Border Defense | They stand as the Guards of the Borders, which they protect and defend the borders. Therefore, they are allowed to have specific weapons to serve as self-defense in case of any sudden attacks in the country.
- Maritime Forces | They stand to protect the seas and waters of Monzen, they are allowed to have specific weapons just in case of attacks. They have to protect the sea territory of Monzen and any person traveling within it.

Special Administrative Region of Haoyu
Monzen has also an Administrative Region. Haoyu as its name, throughout its history. This region were once united with Monzen in 2015, but due to the Chaos of the Monzenian separation, the region decided to split their territory. This was due to the battle that ransacked the whole place. It was a tragedy for them. Haoyu before is called: Samishi, after the Socialist Liberation, the Communist Party decided to rename the region to Hao which means Good in mandarin. Later on, the Governor of this Administrative region passed a suggestion to extend the name of the region, which came to the conclusion for the region to be called as Haoyu. The Haoyu SAR is currently governed by Comrade Paul Quinn.

In present times, Monzen is progressive towards International Diplomacy, making Monzen's allies increased over time. As of the Legislatives, the Monzenian Government managed to make more friends than before, which means to say that Monzen improved its Diplomacy in the Present times. In accordance with the Department of People's Security and Information, there are estimated 20+ Micronations from the United States, Mexico, Brazil, Taiwan, Japan and Philippines who have a Great Friendship with Monzen. The Government is looking forward into more Progress for Diplomatic Ties with the Micronations in the World.
