Use this guide with common sense and read it thoroughly; your article should be based on this guide but should not copy it verbatim. Source editing is greatly preferred over Visual Editing, as Visual Editor adds unnecessary elements to pages. Editing this guide in source will also help you familiarize yourself with wikitext and will allow you to see important technical functions that visual editor will omit.

  • Anything surrounded by <nowiki></nowiki> will force the software to display plain text. Remove it wherever it appears in this guide.
  • Parts of this guide intended to be filled in with your own info will be encased in single curly brackets: {example}
  • Text surrounded by <!-- and --> is a comment. These will tell the software to not include the enclosed content on the page entirely, and are present to help you as you're editing the page in source. Remove it after you have completed filling in the infobox and adding categories.

You do not need this section unless your micronation previously recognized states that are now defunct. Format this list like the other three above.

Administrative regions

Explain your nation's claim system, and the various types of constituencies your nation may have, for example, the difference between a district and a territory. It is preferred that you do not discuss each constituency in this section. Instead, the names of each constituency in the table should be linked to their own separate articles. You can add and remove columns as you wish, but generally, include fields for the flags (which should be kept small, at most 100px wide (less if more rows listed) and have a border), name, and important fields such as area, population, governor and/or representative (or equivalent position). You do not need to include a column for a seal, flag, or coat of arms for each constituency if it they do not have one.

The coat of arms of Britnordica

Britnordica is a micronation located in the British isles. It was founded in 2022 with the vision of a united North Sea. The nation is known for its devotion to God and the Pope.

History

Britnordic history begins in 2020 when the Clannic Era begun and continues to this day, the following lists major events in Britnordic history

Clannic Era(2020-2022):

During this Era Britnordica was ruled by many Clans which each had there own ideas of how the future micronation should be ran. these Clans included the Trynnovantians, East Saxonians, Falkirkians, Orkneydianans, and the Dukedomians.

Founding(2022):

The clans finally united under The King, who was named High King over all Britnordica. At this time the King had absolute power deu to the lack of population and resources. at this time Britnordica had no diplomatic relations with any other Nations/Micronations.

Democratisation(2022):

However soon the population grew enough that a parliament could be established. Elections were held, Ministers appointed, and freedoms given. the Prime Minister was elected and became one of the most popular Prime Ministers in the history of Britnordica.

Joining the UMNS(2023):

In early 2023 the King became aware of a community and political organisation called the UMNS. He soon joined and thus the Kingdom entered the world of intermicronational politics.

The Week of Torment(2023):

In an echo of the Clannic Era that lasted one week 4 factions formed. They included the Republicans, Fascists, Communists and Anarchists. For this week the Kingdom came to the brink of Civil War. However soon all the turmoil ended. however the protests lead to reforms such as the creation of the Witan.

Creation of the Varangian Empire(2023):

Britnordica would soon unify with the order of St Thomas to create the Varangian Empire which had territory which spread from the UK to parts of New Zealand. This was arguably one of the most powerful micronations to have existed with a population of 34 and a huge expanse of territory with land in, Australia, New Zealand, Arabia and multiple areas of the North Sea.

End of the Varangian Empire(2024):

Unfortionately it was not to last. Nationalist movements began to rise and soon many micronations reverted back to there old selfs with the declaration of independence of the Order of St Thomas marking the end of the Varangian Empire and beginning of the Third Kingdom.
