The Grand Jefferson Confederacy , more commonly known as Jeffersonia , is a micronation based in Jefferson County Pennsylvania but has territory all over the world, it was created when the Archduchy of Pennsylvania reformed its government as to have more efficient legislature and more freedoms for its people, it is the successor to the Archduchy and has the same independence day July 16, 2018. It's government is currently make up of 7 Republics in Jefferson Butler and Clearfield county Pennsylvania with there being 9 people in the Confederate House and 10 in the Jeffersonian Grand Senate
Its population is 97.3% white and 2% Turkish / Egyptian and 1.7% Black
Government
The Government of The Confederacy is a Confederated Republic which uses the Alternative Voting system were people vote in prefectures in their Republic to elect their representatives for their Republics, Federal elections are based upon the same system but it is to the Republic's majority number of prefectures to cast the Republic's vote, the Republic government does reserve their right to cast their vote, The Confederent is elected and appoints one of the two Co-Confederent the other one is elected in the Primary elections.
Legislatures
Jeffersonian Grand Senate
The Jeffersonian Grand senate is made up of 9 seats of which 8 are elected and one is appointed by the Confederent no more than 3 days after the general election, these are elected in the general election and uses a AV-EV Electoral system to delegate their votes from republics including the "Citizens Abroad" Republic which is for citizens who do not reside in any other kind in the Confederacy. The Jeffersonian Grand Senate passes bills that are from the house and can propose bills if 7/9 of the senate votes for the proposed bill. The Senate reserves the rights to make new Republics.
Confederate House
The Confederate house is made up of 21 seats which are elected with a Alternative Voting system without the need of a majority. The House proposes bills to be passed up with 12/21 or more to pass the bills. The House can impeach senators with 15/21 of the vote and at least 2/9 of the senators.
Other Governmental Functions
Election Cycles
The Senate and the Cofederant and 1/3 of the house are elected in the general election which occurs every two months with a AV system for the House and AV-EV for the Cofederent and Senate, The Primary elects one Co-Cofederent and 1/3 of the house which happens every month.
Non-Possessed-Seating System
Incase if a party wins more seats than members up for the seats the Party's National Convention may delegate the seat's vote to which ever vote the convention decides.
