Agatonian Air (Somerlean: Agatonijskije Litalskije Družbi), legally known as Agatonian Air Joint Stock Partnership (Somerlean: Agatonijskije Litalskije Družbi Djalniška Družba) is the flag carrier of Agatonia.[1] As of its founding, it operates scheduled services to 4 destinations in Mainland Agatonia, Europe and Asia. The airline serves destinations that fly to Mainland Agatonia, the People's Republic of China and Japan.

The airline's corporate headquarters are on the grounds of Eastern La Cambria International Airport in Airport District, Southern La Cambria, La Cambria City. The airline's main base is Empress Sachiko I International Airport in Kangarooville, near Borderdale.

History

Agatonian Air was founded on 1 July 2024 by Agatonia's president, President Kaito I. At the day of its founding, it flew 4 routes going through 4 cities. Agatonian Air also decided to fly more destinations per day. Also, all the flight codes are introduced from number 1 to 13.

On 2 July 2024, Agatonian Air made its frequent flyer program. The frequent flyer program is Miles & Smiles. The Agatonian Royal Family was guaranteed to receive the Elite Plus card, for the reason being that the family ranks high in the Agatonian government.

On 5 July 2024, Agatonian Air decided to rework the flight codes. Even-numbered flights go in one direction (e.g. eastbound or northbound), while odd-numbered flights go in the opposite direction (e.g. westbound or southbound). Flights going in an intercardinal direction are being combined such as 2 meaning north and 1 meaning east (together, they make 21, meaning that it flies northeast). The numbers on Agatonian Air flight codes never begin with a zero.

Example: Agatonian Air AO1023 (LDD1024)

  • AO or LDD signifies Agatonian Air.
  • 1 signifies that it flies southbound, and 0 signifies that it flies eastbound.
  • 23 signifies a unique two-number combination.

It depends on which flight code it shows. Sometimes, the number combination does not have a meaning.

Fleet

As of its founding, Agatonian Air operates a fleet of 1 aircraft, going to all the 13 destinations. On 1 July 2024, the same day when Agatonian Air was founded, President Kaito I announced that Agatonian Air will be purchasing more aircraft to conduct its flights individually. All the aircrafts in Agatonia are actual toy aircrafts, with the reason being that the state cannot afford real airplanes.

Destinations

Agatonian Air has an extensive domestic route network that covers almost the entirety of Mainland Agatonia, from the Extreme North Somerley exclave in the north to Irkutsk Agatoniansko in the south. Agatonian Air's international route network extends through China and Japan. Its key international hub is Kangarooville International Airport.

Ahead of Essexiair, which has 16 routes, Agatonian Air offers flights to 14 routes and 7 cities across two continents. Agatonian Air is the micronational society's second-largest flag carrier by number of routes. It is also the third-smallest in terms of fleet size, having a fleet size of only 1 aircraft.

Agatonian Air currently focuses on commercial flights, making it only possible to fly a destination for holiday purposes. Business purposes currently are not supported. Anyone that tries to book a Business Class or First Class, will automatically fly the destination for holiday purposes.
