Dominion of Hawkland

The Dominion of Hawkland, or just Hawkland for short, is a micronation in Southern Africa. Hawkland was discovered in the 17 hundreds by a British explorer named, Tim Edwards. Tim Built the very first settlement a the foot of the only mountain in the region and named it after himself(Little Tim). on April 16, 1769, Tim set out to scale the mountain, but unfortunately never returned. It wouldn't be until 30 years later that someone else tried to climb that mountain and that someone was Timmy Edwards the son of Tim. It took him 2 days to reach the peak of the newly named Mount Little Tim. 10 years later in 1810 Timmy and a couple hundred me marched west over the Pigeon river were they first came into contact with the native population. We traded with them for sometime until a child from the recently built Port Anvil went missing and every one blamed the native tribes. A small war broke out that ended a year later when the natives migrated further north. After we won the 1st world war the city of Sasolberry became our capitol.

We are a democratic nation so we have a prime minister his name is Blaze Pheiffer he's also the chief of army, air force and navy.

We don't have a big military, If we should have to partake in a war the UK would send the most troops to battle. We only have a 100 ground units 1 heavy tank 2 aircraft 1 battleship and 1 artillery piece.

We had a large civil war in 1927 against communists which split our country in half. With the help of some British we managed to win the war by 1938, and as soon as we won our civil war we were dragged into another one . Most of our troops fought in Burma and eventually Egypt. After the 2nd world war was over a lot of our soldiers returned to there partially destroyed homes from the civil war.
