Dianica, officially Dianican Confederation, (Spanish: Confederación Diánica), is a micronational project that was born on 9 May 2020, coinciding with the ancient Festival of Artemis, Diana for the Romans.
The aim is to provide a meeting place for all kinds of people interested in developing cultural activities, especially those related to classical antiquity.
Dianica is structured applying the principle of subsidiarity, through districts with a wide self-government coordinated through a National Assembly where any issue that will affect all Dianicans is resolved.
Etymology
The name of the micronation is in honor of Diana, the Roman goddess of the countryside, hunters, crossroads, and the Moon.

The Artemisium Institute publishes regular editions of the History of Dianica.
Politics and government
Dianica is a direct democracy, organized through the principle of subsidiarity, whereby each district of the nation is self-managed by its own citizens, and a National Assembly makes decisions that will affect all Dianicans.
