According to the draft 2024 constitution, dual citizens are not eligible to hold positions in the national government. The increase in citizenship is also attributed to the La Addrecia dos Toutecia a Nacion (State of the Nation’s Address) delivered by President Victa in July 2024. The La Addrecia dos Toutecia a Nacion of President Victa and his strategic policies led to the increase in citizenship as he introduced the new concept of gaining citizens to the Congress.
