"Cyaneus", officially the "Kingdom of Cyaneus", is a North American territorial microstate landlocked within Wisconsin, and with more territory in Michigan. Being a newer nation, Cyanean officials declared it still in development, and stated that a change in location is likely within the next few years.

Kaltsstadt, Cyaneus' capital city, was founded a few days after Cyaneus was. Kaltsstadt currently has no physical location, however, König Nathan has stated that "our plans for Kaltsstadt will become real as soon as Cyaneus decides to expand."

Cyaneus has declared itself a sovereign state since mid-2017 and has proclaimed everything within its borders to be "green" to try and reduce both greenhouse gases and pollution.

Timeline

July 8, 2017: Cyaneus declares independence from the United States of America.

July 26, 2017: Cyaneus adds 22 characters to its alphabet, making a total of 48 characters.

July 27, 2017: Cyaneus begins accepting applications for citizenship.

July 20, 2017: Cyaneus' national anthem is officially made "Unter dem Doppeladler" by Josef Franz Wagner.

August 7, 2017: Cyaneus' national flower is declared to be the Edelweiß.

August 26, 2017: Cyaneus makes marijuana illegal. Its' first phone line is also installed.

August 28, 2017: Cyaneus allows for the creation of the Republican Party.

August 29, 2017: Communism and radical feminism are made illegal.

August 30, 2017: King Buxton announces the creation of the Department of State Security. The legal drinking age is made 16; 18 for hard liquor.

August 31, 2017: King Buxton declares that he will be attending the Alexis convention.

September 1, 2017: Cyaneus DSS releases its first promotional poster for the Armed Forces.

September 3, 2017: Cyaneus declares a state of emergency following an apparent successful hydrogen-bomb test from North Korea. The Department of State Security absorbs the military following the state of emergency.

September 4, 2017: Cyaneus publishes the first proposal for the intermicronational laws in the UM.

September 7, 2017: King Buxton releases a preview of Cyaneus’ capital

September 11, 2017: King Buxton presents Freddie Dewhirst honourary membership following his resignation from office at the end of his term.

September 14, 2017: Cyaneus announces its’ participation in the UM.

September 15, 2017: Cyaneus condemns the London terrorist attack and states that terrorism will not be tolerated.

September 17, 2017: Cyaneus announces that all Cyanean cities will be integrated into ‘Sponge’ cities.

September 18, 2017: Cyaneus announces the future issuing of passports.

September 19, 2017: King Buxton offers his condolences to the victims of an earthquake in Mexico.

September 23, 2017: Cyaneus declares the end of the state of emergency declared following North Korea’s H-bomb test.

October 1, 2017: Cyaneus gives its full support to Catalonia and condemns Spain for using force on otherwise peaceful protesters.

October 2, 2017: Cyaneus announces the beginning of its' campaign of producing lingonberries.

October 3, 2017: Cyaneus offers Catalonia military support.

October 6, 2017: Cyaneus Government announces a shutdown of one week due to King Buxton’s relative’s failing health.

October 10, 2017: Cyaneus officially re-opens earlier than one week.

October 11, 2017: Cyaneus cuts off all ties with the Kingdom of Catan after Catan’s 14th Prime Minister, Jake Finch, makes pro-ISIS remarks and urges ISIS to attack the United Kingdom.

October 12, 2017: Cyaneus receives word that Jake Finch has been arrested and opens relations with Catan once more.

October 27, 2017: Caesar Union declares war on Catan due to claims of 'corruption' and misleads Cyaneus into declaring war as well.

October 28, 2017: Catan's new Prime Minister (Abigail Barnet) clarifies that Catan is not corrupt and proves CU's evidence to be incorrect. Catan's relationship with Cyaneus ends due to the war.

November 4, 2017: Catanś Prime Minister proposes to re-open diplomatic relations with Catan. Cyaneus accepts.

November 5, 2017: King Buxton speaks to Jordan Addy, Catan's foreign minister, about trade, diplomatic relations, and possible embassies.

November 6, 2017: Kanzler Haanpää declares the hunting of Golden Eagles illegal. King Buxton later clarifies that the killing of the animal is illegal unless on humanitarian grounds.

November 7, 2017: King Buxton declares November 8 to be National Holodomor Remembrance Day.

April 9, 2020: King Buxton and Kanzler Erkki declare that the Kingdom will re-open and resume normal activities.
