Coublonea of the Democratic Federal United Exclaves

The Coublonean Flag. 1:2, divided into 6 equal horizontal bands, the color of a sugar maple's roots under a brook. The second bands from the top and bottom are further divided into three, with the top and bottom bands the color of new beech leaves, and the middle the color of hemlock needles. In the middle of the two bands, three sprigs of dendrolycopodium, one centered, and the other two equidistant from the center.

Coublonea of the Democratic Federal United Exclaves, more commonly known as Coublonea (kUblOnEa), is a micronation on the southern New Hampshire side of the Connecticut River Valley. The nation seceded from the United States of America in 2019 and joined in union with Skahania the following year to form the beginning of the Democratic Federal United Exclaves. Coublonea is divided into three distinct regions, kaz, jOs, and Ev, in addition to the Capital, which is designated as a region of its own.

As for governance, there is no single leader. However, in diplomatic affairs, committees of individual representatives are elected by popular vote (votes occur as each international matter arises).

History

Founded in 2019 when the residents of the land decided to secede from the United States, the micronation has been in alliance with the other United Exclaves of Skahania, Spagonica, and Holmberg, and at war with none. This age of peace has ushered in a great age of creativity, including weavings, paintings, art, and music.

Politics and government

Currently, there is no formal government in Coublonea. Rather, committees of representatives are chosen by popular vote as each international affair arises.

Law and order

There is no formal law in Coublonea, but citizens hold a council when the majority believes justice is required for an action.

Foreign relations

In 2019, Coublonea entered an agreement between it and the Republic of Skahania, which borders it to the southeast, The two nations agreed to share resources, and maintain a network of roads between one another, as well as establish a postal system at the border. The following year, Spagonica and Holmberg joined the union, creating the official Democratic Federal United Exclaves.

Military

Although Coublonea hasn't been involved in any international conflicts, the Coublonean military consists of a riflery division, an archery division (featuring a unique design for a longbow which doubles as a flail, known as a Coublonean bow), and a slingshot division.
