Cordonia, officially the Kingdom of Cordonia, is a micronation on the Eastern Coast of North America. It is a unitary parliamentary democracy and constitutional monarchy. Cordonia does not have a codified constitution but an unwritten one formed of Acts of Parliament, civil law code, court judgements, traditions, and conventions. The current monarch is King James, who reigned as Aspen Emperor beforehand.
History
The first permanent settlers arrived in the Virginia area around 5,000 years ago. By 1500 CE, small settlements were founded under Algonquian Chief Powhatan, and farming was widespread.
