The Communist Republic of Talconta was a micronation located in the same land as its predecessor, The Grand Duchy of Talconta which itself was located in the same area as the former Norwegian Territory of Erik the Reds land
History
It was formed in November 2020, following the dissolution of the Grand Duchy of Talconta. The area was briefly given back to Denmark until the Communist Republic was formed. It had a brief civil war which ended in government victory. On the 10th of December 2020 it signed a non aggression pact of mutual recognition with The Republic of Femboy. It attempted to take advantage of the UASSR War on Terror by jumping in to gain land. On the 12th of December 2020, it officially pulled out of the UASSR War on Terror, accepting defeat and apologizing to The Union of American Soviet Socialist Republics for waging for unjustified reasons. It went to war with The Empire of Austenasia for failing to hand over the Austenasian province of Wrythe to The Communist Republic of Talconta. On the 19th of December 2020, the nation dissolved to make way for the third incarnation of Talconta, The Holy Empire of Talconta.

The nation was run under an authoritarian, oppressive government which is not unlike its predecessor.
Wars
Talcontan Civil War-Victory. Monarchist Rebels stripped of Talcontan citizenship and banned from entering Talconta after surrendering. 6–7 December 2020
Talcontan-Austenasian War-Ceasefire. Status quo ante bellum (Austenasia ignores war declaration, Talconta fails to launch invasion.) 12–19 December 2020
UASSR war against terror-Defeat. Failed attempt to gain any land from the UASSR so pulled out. 10–12 December 2020.
Foreign opinions
The nation strongly disliked the Empire of Austenasia and also greatly disliked the Republic of Molossia for its shooting down of the Mustachistan rocket The Goatshead.
