Commander is a senior officer rank of the Royal Albian Navy. It is immediately junior to the rank of Captain and immediately senior to the rank of Lieutenant Commander. Officers holding the rank of Lieutenant Commander are not considered to be full Commanders.

The insignia of a Commander is three gold stripes, with the top stripe bearing an executive curl.
