The Civil War Started after Rebel uprising in Province of Park, the rebellion was crushed after 5 days of fighting.
Causes:
Economic measures of President Jovic and his Government have caused prices to skyrocket and also, inflation went up, Zaire, currency of the country lost 4% of it's value. Dictatorial practices of Council of Generals have also been cause. Final straw according to rebels was introduction of Law of Banks.
The war:
First skirmishes between the Zairean Armed Forces and divided opposition forces and deserters from the ZAF had happened in Province of Park. During the first 2 days of war, rebels made huge advancements in Park province, taking control of over half of Province of Park and even making small gains in the capital city of Mobutugrad. On the second day of the war, United Forces for Liberation of Zaire were formed together with Transitional Government of Zaire. On this day, President of New Republic of Zaire announced that a huge counter-offensive against the rebels was going to happen very soon. On the third day of war, the counter-offensive had started and Rebels held on their positions in the first day. On the 4th day, Rebels lost a huge portion of territory due to shortage of ammo and Great Kyrati Kingdom cutting their support for rebels. On the next day, last bits of resistance was crushed as last soldiers of the United Forces for Liberation of Zaire had surrendered
Aftermath:
After this war, President of Zaire, Vidak Joivc, started the process of recovering from the war, however, that process didn´t go well for the country due to sanctions from surrouding countries of Great Kyrati Kingdom, Principality of Leskolandia and State of Vlasina. Vidak Jovic resigned and first free elections in Zaire´s history were held. In the elections, Marko Stefanovic won majority of votes. Challanged with hyperinflation, ruined economy and, de facto, no central government, Marko Stefanovic resigned stating that ´he and his government are not capable of coping with all of the mess that the former criminal regime left to them´ just 2 days after the election on July 25th 2021. On 1st of august 2021, Zaire was transfered into a Emirate by Uros Stajic.
