Karisradd, officially the Civil Stratocracy of Karisradd was a small North American state founded by J. Allen Turner. Karisradd lasted from its conception on the 26th of April, 2013, until the 1st of November of the same year, where it was replaced by the Civility of Kaisland. Karisradd was a stratocracy, its government and military essentially being the same entity. The state's founder dissolved the state, so that a civilian government could be formed.
Government
The Karisrite government was run as a stratocracy, lead by a council of elected military members. The head of the council was head of state and government, and was the person involved with diplomatic relations. The Head Councilor through most of Karisradd's existence was J. Allen Turner, who was also the country's founder.
A supreme court determined the constitutionality of laws passed by the council, based on the Karisrite constitution. Karisradd originally began as a socialist state, but mandate of socialist ideals was deemed unconstitutional, and in large part removed from law. The supreme court had become increasingly fearful that socialist rule would begin to suppress the rights and freedoms of the people, and eventually "devolve" the state into just another communist dictatorship.
