The Civic Platform (Piattaforma Civica in Italian) was the rigid opposition to the Perdomo Cabinet. It was made out of Open PLD. It was created after the new Prime Minister of Pinang, Andrew Perdomo ignored Open PLD while handing out cabinet seats to the Pinangese Socialist Alliance and the Patriots. As a response, Open PLD left the Pinangese Patriotic Alliance and was inaugurated the opposition of the Government.
