Breve Empire

Short Overview

The 'Breve' in our name roughly translates to 'Short' in latin, which represents who who are perfectly. Our nation strives for equality for all. No matter their race, gender or height. The Breve Empire is ruled by a council of 20. She claims to not just be a country, but an international movement.

Currently her citizens consist of several people, and a few gingers as ambassadors from the core of the earth.

Government

The Breve Empire [Hereby referred to as just Breve] is governed by a council of 20 Short Emperors. 10 male, and 10 female. The 2 groups will vote separately on gender-specific laws, as it is the view of the founders that males shouldn't be able to vote on abortion.

Below them is the Parvus Committee, a council of 6 who govern the 6 regions. [Listed further down]

The final 2 groups that may vote on legislature are the High Courts of Justice and Equality respectively. Each may make decisions in their field. HCE may only vote on legislature that can affect laws surrounding equality, while HCJ can only vote on criminal laws.

Below the 4 groups are several ministries that may decide minor rulings without High Government approval. Ex. Defensive Operations, Building Projects.

The State of Breve currently claims parts of the town of Astley. Currently the government has drawn up plans for 6 provinces, but they haven't officially signed off on the borders

Constitution

As of Sat. 24th Of September, no constitution has been approved by the High Government - but several iterations are under development.
