Bergland Airfield is one of the two airfields of the Federal District and the main operating base of the Defense Force Air Component. It consists of 218 metres long runway and 4 landing pads for UAVs. The runway 02/20 is used for parking at Federal Building on Stadtstraße. The construction of the second runway on the Oststraße is proposed but there are complications with acquiring land for that purpose.
