Bathtub City

Bathtub City, also known as Bathtubia or simply Bathtub, is a city in The Poodle cult. The city is known for its industries, culture, and a year-long monsoon.

Etymology and nicknames

The name Bathtub City comes from the city being located in a bathtub. The city has been called Windstorm City, due to its year-round windstorm seasons that devastate the region.

History

Bathtub City was first populated in May 2022, after a group of people had been seeking land after Aubrey World began to fall.

2023

In mid-March 2023, the city went from mostly a land-based city to a water-based city, as devastating windstorms ensured this would be a necessary.

June 2023

Bathtub City was hit by 6 landfalling windstorms, which made the city poor and desolate. Many attempts were made to recover, but none worked.

November 2023

After about 6 months of recovery from the 6 windstorms, the city was repopulated, as part of the Banished Triangle, a place which was fabled to be populated out of only people who had entered, as they couldn't go back and were trapped there. This soon was very deadly, as a severe thunderstorm combined with heavy flooding damaged the region.

February 2024

A strong winter storm caused extreme damage to the region, causing flooding, hail, waves, and overall extreme damage.

Geography

The city is mostly flat, with a few cliffs and some valleys. The most populated regions are built on floodplains.
