The Bank of Albia, officially His Majesty's Central Bank of Albia, is the national bank of the Kingdom of Albia.
History
The bank of Albia is the oldest organisation in the financial sector in Albia. It was established on 17 June 2022, after Luke I of Albia introduced Uxram as the national currency of the Kingdom.
Governance
The bank is overseen by the national Treasury, who nominates a Governor to chair the bank's board of directors. The Governor is appointed by the Monarch of Albia and serves at his majesty's pleasure.
Role
The role of the Bank is primarily to:
- Print and Circulate National Currency
- Work with the Treasury to Manage National Currency
