BALKAN UNION - LAWS

ARTICLE I

The micronation that wishes to join the organisation should have more than a 50% of a territory situated in the Balkan Penninsula.

ARTICLE II

The micronation that wishes to join the organisation cannot declare war on another micronation that is member state of Balkan Union.

ARTICLE III

If micronation that wishes to join the organisation violated or violating human rights in any form (Religion, race, nationality, et cetera) it cannot apply for membership.

ARTICLE IV

The micronation that wishes to join the organisation must be secessionist, simulationist micronations cannot be accepted.

ARTICLE V

The micronation that wishes to join the organisation as an observer can be a nation not situated in Balkan if wants to help organisation. Otherwise, requirements are the same as for a full member (ARTICLE I).


IF ANY OF THIS ARTICLES ARE VIOLATED, ARTICLE IX TAKES PLACE.

ARTICLE VI

TYPES OF MEMBERSHIP

The types of memberships are Full and Observer. Full members can attend meetings and participate in agendas. Observer members can attend meetings and cannot participate in agendas. They can participate in some agendas approved by Chair or Vice-Chair.

ARTICLE VII

APPLICATION PROCEDURE

The micronation can apply only on discussion page by writing nation's name and type of membership (Full Member or Observer). Membership of the nation is put to vote on next meeting.

ARTICLE VIII

VOTING

Anything put to the vote needs to pass 50% in favor of it by attending members to be accepted/adopted.

ARTICLE IX

EXPULSION ACT

Expulsion act takes place when the some of the articles I, II, III, IV or V are violated. By the Article VIII, if vote passes 50% in favor of it by attending members to be expulsed from organisation.

ARTICLE X

CHAIR AND VICE-CHAIR

Chair is elected every three months by the voting of member states. If member state does not vote, it will automatically vote for the current Chair. Vice-Chair is chosen by Chair.

ARTICLE XI

LEGAL CASES OF SECCESSION

The cases where member state can success into new and stay a member (with new or not new name, depends on case) is:

  • Annexing
  • Joining
  • Merging
