Armed Forces of Oshad
The Armed Forces of Wellmoore also known as His Excellency's Armed Forces are the forces responsible for the defence of the Republic of Oshad. They also promote Oshad's wider interests and can provide intermicronational aid.

History
Foundation
The Armed Forces of Oshad where founded by Presidential Decree on the 9th of October 2021 by President Luke of Oshad, with the main focus being to defend the President of Oshad and the Republic.
Recruitment
All services of the Armed Forces of Oshad recruit from the Oshad population. The minimum age to enlist in any branch of the armed forces is 16. The maximum age for enlistment depends if the applicant is applying for a regular or reserve role. All enlisted personnel commit to a minimum of 3 years of service while officers typically commit to a minimum of 12 years.
To Commission as an Officer citizenship is required, unless it's an Honorary Commission.
To Enlist as a Soldier or Airman only Permanent Residency is required.
Conscription
However by orders of the First President of Oshad all citizens aged between 18 and 24 are required to commit to a minimum of 4 years national service.
Leadership
The Armed Forces are lead by the Commander-in-Chief, an office held by the President of Oshad, and the Chief of Defence Staff. Both the Army and Air Force are lead by their own chiefs of staff.
