Arachnid 1 was the first flying machine registered in the Republic of Taigh a Bata. Imported from Ethiopia, it was registered in The Bedroom and was launched on the 16th of January 2010 from Torr nam Mue. A Kinder Suprise toy container containing a slug (christened Randall) was suspended beneath the balloon. Arachnid 1 crashed approximately two minutes after lauch, and was never seen again.
