The club was established on 23 April 2024 AD in Rhion, Hagios Georgios, Græcia.
Club crest and team colours
The club's crest incorporates the shield used by Olympias Patras BC, with Apollon's colour scheme. The crest features the head of god Apollo, the namesake of the club. It loosely resembles the logo of Apollon Patras BC.
The club's colours are denim and gold.

Venue
The club play their home matches in the open basketball court of Rhion. The Rhion Basketball Court is also used for both departments' training sessions.
