Columbia, the land of opportunity and freedom, a rising star from the ashes of an imploding sun. Bound by the ideals of prosperity through community, Columbia stands as the last hope for liberty across the North American Continent. Guided by its Founding President, Joseph Marion, it seeks to re establish hegemony on its lost lands from the civil war.
History
The American Empire was Founded on July 4, 2020 By the First Commander In Chief, President Trenton Gibson. The Empire Widely kept most of its pre-imperial practices, in the name of honoring the Great Nation it had reformed.
Government
Keeping to tradition, a Two House System of Government was kept, but Abolished All Political party's, as the First President George Washington had intended, the Government Hasn't Changed Much From the Transition to the Empire. With the Main two Houses of Government not being changed, the Executive Branch is Given New Powers much like a dictator, all executive branch appointments are Life-Long Terms with exception of the Cabinet.
Military
The Military of the Empire was Already Mighty, but Now it has become a True Sole Superpower. The Military of The American Empire has Always been a Mighty Force to be Reckoned With, The Reformation of its Armies in Summer 2020 Came to bring more Flexibility and Power to its Military Might.
