Albert (Albert Marley; born 3 March 2005) is King of the Animalian Kingdom.
Albert was adopted in Hayward, California by the King Mother and the King Father, and was educated privately by then King Baby.
When his brother died in December 2010, he became the new Monarch. He reigned as a constitutional monarch through major political changes, such as the creation of parliamentary democracy, devolution in Animalia, the signing of the Nova Serva Treaty and periodic political revolutions.
Albert has occasionally faced republican sentiments and public criticism of the royal family. However, support for the monarchy has consistently been and remains high, as does his personal popularity.
About
The King has ruled for longer than this predecessor, becoming a much loved and respected figure around the country. His extraordinary reign has seen him travel more than the previous monarch, undertaking many historic visits. Known for his sense of duty and his devotion to a life of service, he has been an important figurehead for Animalia during times of enormous social change.
His Majesty continues to carry out a full program of engagements, from visits to social gatherings and religious events, to leading the nation in Remembrance and celebratory events – all supported by other members of the Royal Family. The King sees public and voluntary service as one of the most important elements of his work. His charities cover a wide range of issues, from opportunities for disabled animals, to the preservation of the environment.
Early life
His Majesty was rescued by the King Mother outside of a home in Hayward, California. The King had not eaten for several days and hadn’t gotten enough sleep either. When the King Mother rescued him, she placed him in a cage with another bird to eat and rest. The other bird in the cage was then Baby Gaspar (later known as King Baby). Over the course of the following weeks the two birds had to find a way to live with each other. The King Mother purchased a new cage for the both of them. Several days later, Baby Gaspar decided to create a kingdom with his newly rescued companion. Together they established and founded the Kingdom of Birdland. Baby Gaspar became the King of Birdland and Bertie Gaspar (now the King) became the Prince of Birdland and Heir to the Throne.
Education
Most of the knowledge acquired by His Majesty was taught by his predecessor. King Baby always ate first. Prince Bertie always was second to do things. It was beneficial to the young Prince because he learned so much. Over time, the two companions became brothers.

Family
His Majesty never married or had children and has no plans to. His family is his brothers and sisters that make up the Royal Family. Family values are very important to the King. Each morning the King takes a flight around the kingdom to wake up his brothers and sisters, waiting for them to wake up to come greet him. During meals, His Majesty always eats at the same time as the other Royal Family members. Every meal is a family gathering. The King’s relationship with each member of the Royal Family is different.
