The 2024 Balzian vice presidential debates are a series of debates held in preparation for the 2024 Balzian general elections, marking the first time in Balzian history that vice presidential candidates will participate in such an event. The debates are intended to provide a platform for candidates to present their policies and engage in discourse on key national issues. These debates are part of the larger electoral process established by Executive Order No. 22, issued by President Carl Miguel Salgado-Victa, which outlines the timeline and framework for the 2024 elections.
The first debate in the 2024 Balzian vice presidential race will be held on October 20, 2024, under the supervision of the Supreme Court and broadcast by Vasillica Broadcasting News. It featured candidates from four major political parties: Jade Tolibas of the Liberal Party, Felix Tomado of the Nationalist Party, Joel De Vega Lirazan of Lirazan’s Progressive Party, and Hassan from the Abbas Party.
The debate provided a platform for candidates to address key national issues and was regarded as a significant moment in the campaign. A second debate is scheduled for October 26, 2024, followed by a final debate on October 27, 2024. These debates mark the first time vice presidential candidates in Balzi have formally engaged in such events ahead of a general election, signaling a new era in the country’s political history.
