Parliamentary Elections will be conducted in each of Baumland's five constituencies. Provisional members will stand for election to full terms. The leader of the majority party in the Baumland Parliament following the elections will become Prime Minister of Baumland. The Prime Minister shares governmental duties with the President, the other head of state who is separately elected. Baumland's parliamentary terms begin the day after the election. Elections for Parliament can be called following the dissolution of Parliament by the President and a 2/3rds vote in parliament, but cannot occur less than one month after the previous election, nor can they occur more than one year after the last election. Thus, the next normally scheduled parliamentary election will occur one year after this one, July 5, 2021.
