Ruby Specht I is the president of the Imperial Federation of Schpecktenia and is a key political figure in the Greater Metro East. She started her micronation in 2022 and has been pioneering a micronational community in the area.
Early Life
Ruby Specht was born in Denver, Colorado, and moved to Illinois in 2010. In early 2020, Ruby befriended Colin Houston, who would later be the Second Executive Officer of Schpecktenia, they were both 14. Throughout her high school career, she has been interested in history, politics, and geography. Ruby would slowly start to gain an interest in countries through her high school years, leading to the development of Schpecktenia.
Micronationalism
When she started Schpecktenia in 2022, she had no real idea of what micronationalism was. It wasn't until May-June 2023 that she really began inspiring others in the region to have an interest in micronationalism. She inspired others to form their nations such as the Kaiserreich of New Prussia and the Republic of South Meadowen.
Political Views
In early 2020, Ruby was very conservative. Ruby's overall views of the world greatly changed from far-right views to micronational politics. Ruby used to believe in Provincism, but now has take a more centrist lifestyle. She promotes centrist ideas in real-world politics, but is an activist in secessionist ideas in terms of micronationalism.
LGBT
Ruby Specht is transgender, and supports many different micronations with LGBT leaders and beliefs. Schpecktenia itself is a LGBT friendly community.
Arts
Film Making
Ruby started making her own films at a very young age, but eventually began making higher quality World War Two short films on YouTube. Before she transitioned, Ruby wanted to be an actor or a historian. She eventually lost interest in history, but the short film channel is still up.
Ruby used her knowledge of video editing to create videos for Schpecktenia, but she also partnered with the remaining members of the old channel to produce better videos for Schpecktenia.
Music
Ruby is the drummer for a local band based off of late 60's psychedelic rock, but Ruby also knows how to play piano, some guitar, and a little flute. Ruby made satire Martian-themed alien hip-hop and released her tracks to SoundCloud as Lil G Alien.
