The Federal Republic of Ocean States, often referred to simply as Ocean States, is a self-proclaimed sovereign state located near Providence, Rhode Island. The Federal Republic of Ocean States was originally established on 19 May 2019 as a fascist totalitarian regime, but was followed by several different iterations of ideology and government leading up to the current state.
Etymology
The name Ocean States is a reference to the state of Rhode Island's nickname "The Ocean State," because of the large size of its bay.
