The National Stadium (Tawilan: اِزداّدیهِ نَشّتانهِ; romanised: Ezdâdīê Naštânê), also known as The Kostos Arena (اِزداّدیهِ قُسّتُش), or the Horizon International Stadium for sponsorship reasons, is a multi-seater stadium located northwest of Kostos. It is home to the Tawil national football team and it’s rugby union team, it is under construction but the teams still play in there.
History
It broke ground in 2021, its planned capacity is 20,000 but is temporary 234. It was opened in 10 July 2023 and became the permanent home of Tawil national football team and the Tawil national rugby union team in August.
It was formerly privately owned by Ehsan Amini until 17 October 2023 when he officially gave it to the government of Tawil as he could not manage to pay for it.
