Karlovice District (Czech: Karlovický okres; German: Karlsthalzer Bezirk) is an administrative unit (Czech: okres) of the Principality of Carnovia, located in the most northwest part of the principality. It is named after a very significant place Karlovice, but its capital is Vrbno pod Pradědem (English: Vierben) as the largest city in area. As an administrative unit, Karlovice District has never before existed until 2022 according to the District act passed by Princely Council, which defined the existence of this administrative unit.
