Browndon is the capital city of the Kingdom and Territories of Terredepaix, and a Subdivision of Terredepaix, specifically a city district. It is Terredepaix’s only city district. It is located within the Browndon province of Terredepaix.
Etymology
“Browndon” is named after The founder of Terredepaix’s last name, Brown. The “don” in Browndon was adopted when Terredepaix was still a kingdom. It was modeled after London, hence the last Three letters of the city’s name.
History
Bronwdon has always been the capital of Terredepaix, ever since it was founded. It’s gone through lots of name changes, border changes, etc., But when the Republic of Terredepaix was established on August 27, 2022, Browndon became an official organized Terredepaixan city. When the republic collapsed and the second kingdom arrose, the city stayed as part of Terredepaix.
Government
Browndon runs under a city council government, which hasn’t yet been fully created. President William Brown has established his father, Henry Brown, as the de facto mayor of Browndon.
