The Socialist Realm of Alhonmaa is a micronation in southern Finland and surrounded by Finland. Two friends declared it independent 5.12.2017 and in the next february, two other friends joined the nation. Nowdays Alhonmaa has 6 official citizens. The name "Alhonmaa" comes from a small forest called "Alhonmäki" (mäki means a hill and maa means land). There have been several attempts to translate the name in English, but all of them have sounded dumb. "Alholand" was probably the best attempt.

On 14 January 2020 the first court case ever in Alhonmaa started. The judge Ahmed el-Hameed lifted charges against current king Abdul Abood and former king Nicodemus Hassiz for breaking the constitution. All charges were dropped and no one got sentenced.

Elections

It is said in the constitution that Alhonmaa is a democratic republic but it is actually more of an aristocrat kingdom. There is no true leader, only the king, who at best acts as a chairman for the council and nothing else.
