Sugg is the second smallest municipality of the Åland State. Sugg borders the special administrative region of the Forest Area in the south and the municipality of Cerkö in the east. Sugg has a population of 6. The governor is Axel Himberg.

History

Sugg was originally a part of Börkö municipality when Åxenö was in controll. The French Republic would disolve all municipalities. When the Åland State was founded, the municipality of Sugg was formed. The Sugg municipality was formed on 30 January 2024 and its capital was decided to be the town of Sugg. On 5 February 2024, the governor would be chosen as Axel Himberg.
