Keep in note, we do not endorse, recognize, or accept Fascist macronations or micronations. We do not intend to start any wars, any wars declared against the nation of Dinopolus are false and fake. We don't mind communist or socialist micro or macronations, but keep in mind, communism and socialism have never really worked well. | |
The Democratic Nation of Dinopolus, more commonly known as Dinopolus, is a micronation in southeastern U.S.A. Eventually, plans are to purchase big territories in the Midwest and the northern areas of the U.S.A, we also hope to purchase land on the coast for fishing.
As of 5/22/22 the Papers of the Land is a temporary constitution in the process of ratification. As stated on the side panel, after the certain number of citizens are reached, the Legislature will make a decision on further actions.
Foreign Policy is to be mostly peaceful to other nations. As stated in the side panel, all declared wars against the nation of Dinopolus will not be taken seriously, the only wars we accept will be actual wars with firearms and weapons. As those are illegal, no wars will be taken seriously. We might choose to loosen this in the future to nerf wars though.
Etymology
The name originates from "Dino" which means mighty, and "Polus" or sky. The "Dino" part is supposed to give the meaning we are a mighty nation. The sky part is supposed to mean, 1) A clear sky; Happiness and joy, and 2) A cloudy sky; Sorrow and sadness. The name in its whole means that we will stay mighty and strong through any hardships we face, and, we will have happy and joyous times.
History
April 1: The Micronation has started. May 16–17: The nation of Dinopolus joins the Micronations Wiki. May 17-June 16: Major economic and government changes, we will hopefully become a direct-republic democracy.
Politics and government
(Keep in note, the following applies only when the Papers of the Land is ratified) Until at least ten citizens per state is reached, we have the Papers of the Land as a temporary constitution. When we do gain the ten citizens per state the Legislation will make up its mind to either keep the Papers of the Land, make a new constitution, or to postpone a new constitution until a higher population is reached.
Law and order
The leader in the judicial branch will be the Grand Court, it will be the highest court if the Papers of the Land is ratified. More will be under the Papers of the Land link. The head of the executive branch is the President.
Foreign relations
We have not formed any alliance yet, nor have we joined any organization.
Friendly Nations
Military
The Dinoplian Military is more of an organized Militia. However, after the hopeful ratification of the Papers of the Land, the Legislature will make sure that forming a Military is in their top 10 on the to-do list.
Geography and climate
Mild winters and hot, sunny summers. The land is relatively flat with some small dirt hills, small dirt mounds, and dips. Sadly, their is no natural access to the water which is why we hope to make the territory purchases.
Economy
The economy is a mixed economy, there will be restrictions on businesses placed by the Legislation soon after the ratification of the constitution.
Culture and media
The culture has not been defined yet. The education system will be formed soon after the constitution's ratification along with the press.
