The 12th Heavy Infantry Shock Division or more commonly the "Jomsvikings" is the main Infantry and most commonly hired unit of PMC Wotan, the unit specialized in rapid and heavy attacks on defending enemies and has seen great success in almost every conflict it has been involved in.
The 12th HISD has been used in every single conflict involving PMC Wotan since it's creation. The unit was used heavily in the Greater Metro East War.
History
The 12th HISD was initially created as the first unit of PMC Wotan, free to hire by all nations that would allow it and weren't aligned against New Prussia. PMC Wotan was made in Schpecktenia, along with the 12th HISD, both of which have still persisted.
Many military experienced or militant citizens would join this unit instead of the more professional Reichsarmee. The unit was first deployed in the Schpecktenian-New Prussian War, seizing the Schpecktenian colony in LeClaire.
