Commizaria, officially the Socialist Republic of Commizaria, (Romanian: Republica Populară Commisaria) is a micronation in Brașov, Romania, established on 27 December 2023. It’s mainland is bordered by and completely surrounded by Romania. However, it has some other Territories Bordering: Republic of Gretigo, People’s Republic of Cannolia Cosmos, Cremaria, Russian Federation. with approximately 102 citizens as of the 2024 census. The capital city of Commizaria is Toxograd, with the largest city being Votograd.

Etymology

Commizaria is named after the Siberian state called Komi and the Nigerian city of Zaria.

History

The Socialist Republic of Commizaria was founded on 27 December 2023, under the name of Commiezaria. The micronation was founded after gaining independence from the United Romanian States and Micronations (URSM), a micronation made to unite Romanian miconations, being the 4th micronation to leave the Micronation. On 1 January 2024, Commizaria got launched into the public, still under the name of Commeizaria. Then, on 27 January 2024, the name was officially changed to Commizaria.

The Socialist Republic of Commizaria is a constitutional Technocracy, despite being a de-facto Dictatorship. the General Secretary of Commmizaria is XsoftBud, who is also a programmer and a senator in the House of Senators of the Republic of Gretigo.
