His Majesty King Judah I of Bastara is a micronationalist, royal and the founder and first King of the Kingdom of Bastara. His reign began on 9 June 2023 and he is the longest serving Bastaran monarch.
Personal Life
Judah was born in the United Kingdom to an Ashkenazi Jewish family. Religiously he is Jewish, describing himself as somewhere between Conservative and Modern Orthodox, or "Conservadox". He is the most religious in his family, with his father and sister being more secular leaning and his mother being more spiritual than religious.
He is interested in theology and politics.
Micronational Life
Judah founded the Kingdom of Bastara and took the throne as King. He wrote and ratified the constitution and passed a series of royal decrees, known as "The Early Decrees" to establish Bastara. He is a key figure in Bastaran history and politics, and continues to develop the kingdom as his reign continues.

Public Perception
Judah has been described as a charismatic leader by some of his friends, however he is sometimes seen as more of a figurehead than actual leader depending on the situation. Little is known publicly about his character though he has publicly mentioned how he's an ENFJ personality type which is commonly shown by his leadership style. Judah is semi-political within Bastara, which is shown in his royal decrees, but aims not to be overtly political - reserving his views primarily for private discussions of politics with friends and the Bastaran government (such as meetings with the Prime Minister).
