The country was named after two counties that existed in the Kingdom of Hungary [2].

Administrative division

The country is divided into two counties (Bars, Hont), two autonomous republics (Hátsóbars, Zsigmondföld) and a special so-called Outer Territory (Külső Terület). The autonomous republics enjoy special rights within the state. They have the right to use their own symbols, have their own currency, organise their own army, and establish their own parliament. The so-called Outer Territory is a kind of military territory that forms a complete unit within the country. No one except the military, members of the government and the president are allowed to enter this territory.

Gorvernment

Under the constitution, the state is officially an autocratic presidential republic. The President exercises legislative, executive and judicial powers. The president cannot be a member of any political party. The president is appointed by election, which will be held every ten years from 2021. In the international arena, the President represents all the citizens of the country and stands up for their interests.

Economy

The country is entirely dependent on agriculture. There are several arable fields and vineyards, as well as small farms and private vegetable gardens. Its citizens all go abroad to work and get paid.

Geography and climate

The country lies entirely along the Hron-Garam river. The western part is completely flat, while the eastern part is located on the Ipeľ-Ipoly hills. Its highest point is Filagoria, 234.5m high. It is entirely located in the temperate climate zone. In summer, maximum temperatures are around 25-30 degrees Celsius, with mild winters, with very rare light frosts and little snow. Rainfall is similar to that in neighbouring Slovakia.

Population

The population is not known, but it is estimated at 14 people. The majority of the inhabitants are of Hungarian nationality, mostly Reformed, but there are also Roman Catholics and other Christians as well as non-religious.
