Hilltop TV is the main broadcaster serving the Kingdoms of Hilltop and Bertia, apart of the United Royal Republic of Englica. Test transmissions had been going on since early 2020 but it launched on 11 December 2021. It shows a variety of different programs. It’s Director is Max of Hilltop
History
- 11 December 2021: The station opens to Lower and Upper Stevenshous Province and Bertia. It’s first program is the first part of the Doctor Who serial 'The Mind Robber.
- 13 December 2021: Original programming begins to the screened on Hilltop TV, on this day Brawlers of Kensington House and Historical Tales premiered. It is announced that the station will become available to Mere Province on 26 December.
- 17 December 2021: A grand Christmas Quiz is broadcast live on the station, featuring numerous Hilltop/Bertian political figures. Brawlers of Kensington House wraps up its first season. The first part of a two-part drama miniseries La Grand Mystery of El Dicko is shown, and is a major success. However, The Army Game remained unaired, and the station stated that it wasn’t going for a second season and that it would air throughout the week before Christmas Day in Hilltop/Bertia and later on in Mere. The station also launches a statement for Spetisbury viewers, who have a hard time picking up Hilltop TV signals.
- 28 December 2021: Spetisbury Province has a temporary transmitter installed.
- 21 January 2022: Due to its success, Le Grand Mystery of El Dicko becomes a weekly drama, just known as El Dicko, starring Conner Young and Max Stenner, with Michael Stevens in supporting roles. Brawlers of Kensington House airs a special, which is its final episode.
- 17 April 2022: Hilltop TV’s Drama Department, which makes original story-based content, is dissolved and picked up by the Original Content Department.
Archival
Hilltop TV does not hold an archive, and generally doesn’t record its programs with a few exceptions.
- The first season of Brawlers of Kensington House, the first three weekly Hilltop royal speeches, the first two episodes of Historical Tales and the first season of The Army Game are recorded, and were shown in Mere Province in late December 2021.
