The Free Kingdom of Pyrinthia is a rebel state founded by democrat revolutionaries during the Thirty Minute Secession. During the secession, rebel forces defected from Pyrinthia and created the Free Kingdom of Pyrinthia, in a small patch of land on the Pyrinthian coast.
History
On the afternoon of Sunday 20 June, a press conference was hosted by the Pyrinthian national newspaper, the Nationale, and the government. The conference listed economic reforms, new laws and the latest news. However, halfway through the conference, three rebels burst in with Nerf guns, and in front of the crowd, declared independence from greater Pyrinthia, proceeding to flee the scene afterwards.
A suitable flag was created, and the government was established. Within a week, they had gained significant coverage from the Nationale, which branded them “traitors” and “violent secessionists”.
The Pyrinthian Civil War was on private discord servers, employing the use of “bots” as well as a few real-life skirmishes. Eventually, the Kingdom won the war and has since been recognised as a separate faction.
Government
The rebel state is run by a constitutional monarchy, which is headed by a de facto “king” and two Royal Councillors. The practises are democratic in general, except for when the king intervenes on subjects such as national security.
