The Five Wars were a series of five brutal and devastating conflicts between the Duisien people and the Nimmish invaders that led to the fall of the Old Duisien Civilization. The wars are believed to have been prophesized by Saint Duisienbourgh before his passing, stating "In the days of chaos and war, the followers of the Way of Duisien shall remain peaceful and strive for unity, and their example shall bring about a new era of peace and understanding". The First Duisien-Nimmish War was the initial invasion of the Nimmish, resulting in many years of fighting that nearly resulted in the complete defeat of Old Duisien. After 15 years of peace, the Nimmish launched a surprise attack, starting the Second Duisien-Nimmish War, but Old Duisien was prepared and won the war. The Nimmish disappeared for 30 years before launching an even deadlier attack in the Third Duisien-Nimmish War, resulting in major casualties but another victory for Old Duisien. However, these victories left the Nimmish furious, and they planned their revenge, leading to the Fourth and Fifth Duisien-Nimmish Wars. The Fifth Duisien-Nimmish War began before the Fourth, with the Nimmish launching small-scale raids and skirmishes in the east, leading to a full-blown war that coincided with the larger conflict in the west. The Five Wars ultimately led to the fall of the Old Duisien Civilization.

The First Duisien-Nimmish War was a brutal and devastating event in the history of Old Duisien civilization. The Nimmish, a group of unknown invaders, attacked the peaceful and prosperous civilization, killing, pillaging, plundering, and destroying all they could. The war lasted for many years and almost resulted in the complete defeat of Old Duisien. However, the civilization managed to stand strong and survive the war.

After a period of 15 years of peace, the Nimmish suddenly launched a surprise attack on Old Duisien, starting the Second Duisien-Nimmish War. The Nimmish had settled nearby after their last defeat and had developed new weapon technology and a detailed plan for their attack. However, Old Duisien was prepared for the second attack and expected it the entire time, resulting in an easier war for them. After the Nimmish's second defeat, they disappeared for 30 years, showing up nowhere in history except for a few possible sightings.

The Third Duisien-Nimmish War war began when the Nimmish returned out of nowhere once again, launching an even bigger and deadlier attack than before. They were very sure they would win, but Old Duisien had grown a lot in the 30 years the Nimmish were in hiding. Old Duisien had also built a huge army for the possibility of the Nimmish's return. Both sides had major casualties, but Old Duisien prevailed once more.

These three wars had left the Nimmish furious, and they vowed to destroy the Duisien people even if it destroyed them. The Fifth and Fourth Duisien-Nimmish Wars would be even more brutal and devastating, leading to the fall of the Old Duisien Civilization.

Why did the the Fifth Duisien-Nimmish War begin before the Fourth Duisien-Nimmish War? It begins with the Nimmish people, who had long been bitter about their defeat in the Third Duisien-Nimmish War, secretly planning their revenge against the people of Old Duisien. They began to carry out small-scale raids and skirmishes in the eastern part of the territory, hoping to destabilize the region and cause chaos.

However, their plan backfired when the local leaders of Old Duisien responded quickly and efficiently to the attacks, repelling the Nimmish forces and driving them back across the border. The Nimmish retreated to their own lands and regrouped, still nursing their grudge against the Old Duisien.

Meanwhile, in the west of Old Duisien, tensions were building between the local lords and rulers, each vying for power and control over the region. A dispute over territory erupted into a full-blown war, which would later be known as the Fourth Duisien-Nimmish War.

As the conflict in the west raged on, the Nimmish saw their chance to strike again in the east. They launched a massive invasion force, catching the Old Duisien leaders off guard and quickly overwhelming them. The small-scale battles that had been happening in the east quickly turned into a full-blown war, which would later be known as the Fifth Duisien-Nimmish War.

The confusion over which war began first arose from the fact that the initial Nimmish attacks in the east were not seen as a major conflict, and were therefore not given an official designation as a war. It was only after the larger conflict in the west broke out that the eastern battles were retroactively named the Fifth Duisien-Nimmish War.
