The Emergency Warfare Alert Level also shorted to EWAL is the public and military advisory system for the Arstotzkan Union. The system is used to indicate the level of readiness and status of threats posed to the national security of the Arstotzkan Union.

The EWAL system was created from the EHAL or Emergency Health Alert Level system in 2020. Its first recorded use was on 22 August 2020, where the level was brought up to 3. The system is based on the US, Defense Readiness Condition or DEFCON, however it operates in the opposite manner to the DEFCON system. The EWAL system uses 5 as the highest and 1 as the lowest.

Usage

The EWAL system is controlled by Arstotzkan High Command and is primarily administered by the Arstotzkan Executive War Council. The level is changed on approval by a super majority of the council or if the three presidents or even the General of the Armed Forces deem the situation to require an increase.

Levels

The EWAL system operates in a five level system, with 1 being the lowest and 5 being the highest.
