Pinezia officially Federazione Pineziana (English: Pinezian Federation) is a landlocked micronation located in the Italian Peninsula. The name comes from the Italian word pineta (pine forest). It's a One-party Totalitarian Federation founded on the 1th of December 2021.
History
The Pinezian Federation arose as a result of the gradual expansion of the Federal Republic of New Zakozia. In January 2019, the pine forest near the neighborhood was set on fire by an arsonist, killing animals and causing damage to the environment. It was thus decided by some teenagers to found a micronation to protect the pine forest. The Republic of Silvestria was therefore born on 26 January 2019. During July 2019 a period of instability begins which caused the total transformation of the micronation into the Republic of Zakozia. A part of the pine forest turns out to be sold for building purposes, thus losing hopes of protecting the pine forest, Zakozia was officially dissolved. After a few months the Federal Republic of New Zakozia was born, a micronation founded in an old base of Silvestria with the aim of resuming the old original territories considering that the land was no longer sold. New Zakozia expands so much that it has to divide the territory into several federal states. On December 1, 2021, the independence of the Pinezian Federation was signed.

The Federation has only one party registered, the Partito del Fronte Progressista, (Progressive Front Party).
Military
Currently the Pinezian Federation has a small army only for demonstrative purposes.

Flag and Coat of Arms meanings
The Pinezian Flag was adopted officially on the 20th January 2022. The green represents the pine forest, the white stripe the road that passes through the pine forest, the red stripe the people marching in only one way (reference to the one-party political system in Pinezia). The pine and polar star on the black stripe represents the government that watches over the nation and is a point of reference even in dark times (reference to the past two periods of instability of the micronation).
The Pinezian Federation acquired the same national coat of arms of the former Federal Republic of New Zakozia and has the same meanings. The eagle the glory of the micronation, the diamond the indestructibility and the impossibility of dividing the micronation.
Diplomacy
Currently the Pinezian government has officially recognized and established diplomatic relations only with the Kingdom of Egemonica and Varya.
