The Democratic Republic of Yanlyand, commonly referred to as Yanlyand, is a self-proclaimed sovereign state (more commonly referred to as a micronation by observers) established on 7 November 2023. Yanlyand is situated in North America and operates under a libertarian government, although it is commonly seen as a Lean-Left nation. The nation is characterized by a unique political structure with two key leaders: the Supreme Delegate, responsible for welfare and diplomatic relations with allies, and the Supreme Commander, overseeing matters related to defense and military affairs.
History
Yanlyand's Predecessor, Rustgate, was founded by 5 Boy Scouts on November 4, 2023. Only hours after it's formation, It was dissolved due to infighting and low-level civil war, which ended up with about 3 injuries due to a battle that took place during a hostage crisis. 3 days after the dissolution of Rustgate, 2 of the main leaders involved in Rustgate began drawing up plans for a new, more serious nation. And so, Yanlyand was founded, and emerged on the global stage in 2023 with a vision rooted in the principles of Liberty, Equality, and Justice. The nation swiftly established itself as a beacon of libertarian socialism, distinguishing itself from conventional political paradigms.
On 9 November 2023, Yanlyand officially joined the Micronational Assembly, a prominent organization uniting micronations worldwide. This marked a significant milestone in Yanlyand's diplomatic endeavors, solidifying its commitment to international cooperation and collaboration.
On 17 November 2023, Yanlyand officially declared that a nation cannot be truly Libertarian if it does not welcome all ideologies. Thus, on that day all ideologies (Except for Fascism and Moldoveanism) were legalized. It was on this day as well that the Libertarian Party for Democratic Action, a Left-Libertarian party with members from the previous Leftist mandate, was founded as the founding party of Yanlyand.

The political framework of Yanlyand is founded on libertarian ideals, emphasizing the importance of individual freedom and collective responsibility. The nation is led by two pivotal figures:
Supreme Delegate
This position is entrusted with the crucial tasks of managing welfare programs and fostering diplomatic relations with allied nations. The Supreme Delegate plays a pivotal role in ensuring the well-being and prosperity of Yanlyand's citizens, as well as representing the nation on the global stage. The Current Supreme Delegate is Jacobin Sasha, who is widely considered to be the founder of the nation. Jacobin is a Citizen of Yanlyand, America, and Paloma, and is a Bektashi Muslim.
Supreme Commander
Responsible for matters pertaining to national defense and the management of the armed forces, the Supreme Commander holds a critical role in safeguarding Yanlyand's sovereignty. Their expertise in military affairs ensures the nation's security and stability. The Current Supreme Commander is Alexander Johnson, a smart and strong man with his mind fixated on what is best for the nation's interests and defense.

As the sole political party in the nation, it serves as a formidable bastion of Left-Libertarianism, advocating for a unique fusion of libertarian ideals with a strong emphasis on progressive social policies.
Embodying the foundational values of Liberty, Equality, and Justice, this party operates as the main stronghold of Yanlyand's political ideology. It stands as a living embodiment of the nation's commitment to principles that champion individual freedoms while promoting societal equity and fairness.
Despite becoming De Jure Big-Tent Libertarian, Leadership continues to be Center-Left in the party.
Media
Yanlyand is very free in terms of media. The only type of media that is outlawed is Pro-Fascist and Pro-Christadonia speech. Yanlyand has a National Television station called YaNews Canal 2, which can be seen on Youtube. The original YaNews account was deleted for unknown reasons by Youtube.
