Defence Council of Ledilia

The Defence Council of Ledilia is the body legally entrusted with the defence of the Principality and the territory and with control over the Ledilian Security Forces. Unlike most militaries, it is separate from the government, both being on the same level under the Royal Council members. The Council is led by the Minister of Public Defense with the role of CDS.

Function
The Defence Council is accountable to the Prince for its business. In practice, the Defence Council is a formal body. In addition, the one service board (the Landguard Board) which are sub-committees of the Defence Council meet annually for each service chief to report to the Prince on the health of their respective services.
