The Imperial Republic of Capeland, more commonly Capeland, is a is a self-declared sovereign country that currently is not recognized by any UN member states thus being considered as a micronation by external observers. Capeland is located in Plymouth, Massachusetts.
Etymology
The name Capeland is named after a street that President Hunter O. saw within the territory claimed by Capeland.
List of names
Capeland has had many names since it's creation. This includes: Jager, Huntington, Scromotia, Soviet Scromotia, Scromo-Koron, Avaria, Ferretland, Huntingrad, Jägerin, Nittania, Journia, Verdeland, and Capeland
History
The current president, Hunter O., and his friend Ben, decided to make micronations after hearing about them and thinking it sounded cool. Later the two decided to secede from their former micronations to create new ones. These new micronations then got into many small conflicts, which ended in the formation of Scromo-Koron Federation. Later, this federation dissolved, with Koron ceding all land to the United states and Scromotia becoming the Kingdom Avaria. After many name changes the Kingdom of Capeland was decided upon. After some ideological changed in President Hunter O., the nation became the Communist Empire of Capeland. Capeland declared war on Albero, Sharkland, and Supermia on the 25th of October, 2023, in an attempt to recreate the Scromo-Koron Federation. Later on Capeland got rid of communism. Capeland has also became a republic.
Government and politics
The government is entirely ran by it's President Hunter O. There is no current legislature in Capeland and it only has one political party ran by the emperor.

Capeland is a hyper-imperialist nation that takes issue with the macronation of Canada.
