The Commonwealth of British Overseas Micronations is a micronational group and treaty organisation of micronations with a constitutional link and association with the United Kingdom.

It was formed in April 2024 as an organisation to promote the interests of British overseas micronations and coordinate diplomacy and policy. It was a partial replacement for the Oxford Accord.

Institutions

Council of Ministers

The Council of Ministers decides Commonwealth policy, by consensus. It also elects the Secretary-General, and may veto his actions if needed. It is made up of each states' foreign minister.

Secretariat

The CBOM Secretariat is the executive body of the Commonwealth. It supports the organisation's aims and objectives and is led by the Secretary-General.

The Shapwick Accord was signed on the 10th April 2024, after several months of negotiations. It establishes the Commonwealth of British Overseas Micronations (CBOM) as a treaty organization. It brings together sovereign micronations with a constitutional link and association with the United Kingdom to promote unity, cooperation, diplomacy, and policy coordination. The accord outlines the purpose, membership criteria, governance structure, and objectives of CBOM.
