Reverted moves

Sorry, I reverted all your moves in the interests of standardisation across the whole wiki.  aldy@wiki:~$ _  08:47, 24 May 2011 (GMT)

That's quite all-right, Aldy. :) /swɛ́na/ 💬 20:10, 11 June 2011 (GMT)

Your wiki signature breaks the rules by exceeding 100 characters in code. I suggest you follow the guide I posted on UserВнимание!.  ~~♥~~ Jeremy Oakes (words • deeds)  23:07, 30 November 2011 (GMT)

Good to Know!

I've been away for awhile; are there any other new protocols I should be aware of? ~Sweyn78 @ 18:11 UTC-5

Information.png Hello! You recently used "Title Case" in one or more of your recent contributions. Like with Wikipedia, The Guardian, and The Economist, only the first word of headings and any proper nouns therein are capitalised on MicroWiki. For example:

  • See also, not See Also
  • Foreign relations of Examplestan, not Foreign Relations of Examplestan

Your recent contributions that used title case may have already been fixed, but certainly, please take care to follow MicroWiki's policy on capitalisation in the future. Thank you for your co-operation!  ~~♥~~ Jeremy Oakes (words • deeds)  05:46, 23 December 2011 (GMT)

I'd asked Aldy about this in the past and he quoted something saying to use traditional capitalization. Perhaps it has changed since then.
Also, sorry about the ginormous signature; I've not been on here much with school and I haven't gotten to fixing it until now.
/swɛ́na/ 💬 16:06, 16 January 2012 (GMT)
Ah, I found User talk:Aldrich Lucas/Archive14#Quick Question, where Aldy made a bit of a typo explaning our title case policy. By the way, it's best to reply to messages on the one talk page and just leave Template:Reply on other participants' talk pages. ~~♥~~ Jeremy Oakes (words • deeds)  08:40, 19 January 2012 (GMT)

Diplomatic request

I represent the Flyland poeple. I discovered your country few days ago, i rule the Flyland Empire and i saw your country has its own economy. I think it's great, because mine has got its own economy too. We have video games companies (ADS Corp. and Z Corp. ) , we create our own movie and music. I really think it will be a good idea to make an economic alliance between our two state, don't you ?Empereur Aaron I 19:31, January 14, 2012 (UTC)

Newsfeed entry

Since you were wondering in your edit summary: that post is definitely good enough for the internet newsfeed. Our criteria for what belongs in that newsfeed have probably become rather less restrictive since the creation of the restricted quality content feeds.  ~~♥~~ Jeremy Oakes (words • deeds)  01:39, 2 April 2012 (GMT)

Ah, alrighty, then. The warning in the description made me wonder. Thanks for the speedy reply!
Oh, and do you know when the whole Borat thing will be over?
/swɛ́na/ 💬 01:43, 2 April 2012 (GMT)

Just so you know...

With Kirbin, I formed a few alliances and basically said to peole "yeah, we will have diplomatic relations with you" and didn't really do anything else with it. See my Wikia usercontribs page. --Kirbin (talk) 15:35, 22 April 2013 (GMT)

Ah, okay. That is good to know. Thanks, lol. A little late, though. :P /swɛ́na/ 💬 09:21, 23 April 2013 (GMT)

About recent moving of Theodian article

Hello! I wasn't sure the official way to do naming of articles for other languages. I had written the German article under its German name rather than under Theodia/de so that it would feel more natural to speakers of the language. Is this not allowed? Why? I know on Wikipedia, the titles are typically in the other language.
Thanks, /swɛ́na/ 💬 23:06, 4 June 2013 (GMT)

I was aware that it is the standard here to use sub pages, like the main page. Example: The Indokistan pages...----User:TraceFleemanPage|Talk 23:12, 4 June 2013 (GMT)
Do you know where the stated standards are? I'd like to read them so that I know how things should be done. If there are no official standards, I would much prefer keeping Königreich von Theodland under its German name for consistency and a more professional appearance, until such a time as it is the official stated policy of this MicroWiki to place translations onto sub-pages. /swɛ́na/ 💬 23:17, 4 June 2013 (GMT)
I'll take your silence as a no. I'll move the article back. In the future, please discuss on the talk page such high-profile things as moving BEFORE you go ahead and do them. This is per the rules stated here. /swɛ́na/ 💬 23:27, 4 June 2013 (GMT)

About Trace's recent potential vandalisms

Hello! I appreciate that you are trying to improve articles about Theodia, but you must follow certain Wiki-etiquette:

  • Firstly, leave an edit summary
  • Secondly, discuss large edits BEFORE you commit. This means post about them on the article's talk page.
  • Thirdly, ensure that your edits are of good quality.

The edits you have been making on articles about Theodia have been violating these. You never leave edit summaries. You decline to discuss potential large edits on the talk-page. Lastly, you have arguably reduced the quality of the articles you edited. I appreciate the effort, but please: this is a collaborative project, and the least you can do is be gracious about it.
For a quick summary of proper MicroWiki editing conduct, please see MicroWiki:Simplified ruleset.

I uploaded that image because 1. your image does not show up on ALL computers, including mine (I see three black dots seemingly made in MS paint). 2. It's still bad quality with simple black dots. The image I uploaded mimics Wikipedia's style of maps. Please test images on all Operating Systems because they don't exactly work on all of them.----User:TraceFleemanPage|Talk 01:48, 13 June 2013 (GMT)
What OS and browser are you using? I have tested Theodia's main article under Windows 7 in Firefox (latest) and Chrome, and also in openSUSE 12.3 under Firefox (ESR) and Chrome. I had no problems. The map I used did come from Wikipedia, although the dots were drawn in Kolourpaint. I'm guessing what the problem for you is that either your monitor has a poor contrast or brightness setting, or your monitor is operating at 16-bits instead of 24.
The map you uploaded had debris, very small dots, and showed more of the world than is necessary. It also was not at the resolution used in the article.
/swɛ́na/ 💬 02:01, 13 June 2013 (GMT)
I'm using Windows Vista with Chrome (latest). There is no "debris", that image came straight from Wikipedia. Not to mention it would be better if I could see the damn map to re-create it. Also, stop screaming "vandalism" on every little edit. Although the page doesn't EXACTLY break any rules, it's still bad quality - it's un-encyclopedic how you wrote it, unlike all the other pages.----User:TraceFleemanPage|Talk 02:05, 13 June 2013 (GMT)
The map I uploaded is the current blank map.
And there is a LOT of debris. Grey dots and lines all over. Take a loot at it.
And if you want to see the one I uploaded, fix your contrast. I have a properly configured .icc profile which ensures my monitor displays all colours correctly.
Next, I wouldn't mention vandalism in my reversions if you had posted an edit summary explaining what you did and why you did it. I also wouldn't mention vandalism if you made quality contributions.
And please tell me how exactly the article Kingdom of Theodia is unencyclopedic? How is it bad quality? I would like to know so that the article can be improved. I was thinking it was finally about ready for consideration as a Good Article.
/swɛ́na/ 💬 02:25, 13 June 2013 (GMT)
Those 'grey dots and lines' I assume you are talking about are islands/island chains, made bigger so that they can be seen on a map of the scale. >Uslssrflag.png  Vitcash, the happy Communist Talk n' Edits  -- (talk) 02:33, 13 June 2013 (GMT)
Ah, okay; that makes sense. But in this situation they clutter the map with irrelevant data, and make it more difficult to quickly locate the three relevant dots, especially at the resolution which is actually used in the article (230x157). /swɛ́na/ 💬 02:51, 13 June 2013 (GMT)
